Sliding doors are available in many sizes and come as a single door that slides from one side to another as well as “split” doors which are two doors that meet to close in the middle.
Typical agricultural pole buildings have at least one sliding door.
Sliding doors are versatile and durable and usually cost less than their garage door counterparts of the same size. They are easily customizable and can be built to fit pole buildings of any shape and size.
Consider This…
Sliding doors don’t seal tightly and oftentimes allow dirt, dust, and critters in. On top of that, they’re not insulated and can cause issues with temperature control. This is something to consider even though for most applications and uses this may not be a problem but it might be if you are using the building as a hobby shop or storing sensitive items.
